Paper hardcopy Paper hardcopy is the paper copy of the curve or suite of curves.
Participant Any company which is a party to an Agreement with CDA relating to the company’s use of the CDA Data Repository
Participant’s Representative Shall mean the person nominated by the Participant from time to time and notified to CDA in writing as being the person authorised by the Participant to liaise with and instruct CDA in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and represent the Participant as a member of the CDA Council.
Participation Agreement Determines the obligations of the Participants to forward data for incorporation into the CDA Database and the obligations of CDA to create and Entitlement specific maintain the CDA Data Repository.
Partner A company, normally an oil company, that is a licence holder but not the Operator. Partners contribute to the costs of the licence and are usually granted access to all the data held by that licence.
POSC Compliance Conforming to standards established by POSC.
Procedures shall mean those procedures and requirements relating to the performance of the Agreement as specified in Schedule 5, as amended from time to time, and any other requirements relating to the performance of the Agreement as implied in the same.
Proprietary Data Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), including Title and Copyright, rest with the Licensees. Licence Data is a sub-set of Proprietary Data (since not all Proprietary Data is subject to Data Release). Curve data which can be seen only by the owner and his designated partners. This is a permanent condition, subject only to changes authorised by the owner.
Public Data Data without attached IPR (title, copyright etc) and which is available to the public in an unfettered way (and possibly at no cost).
Public Release Data For well data in the UK this is data that is placed in the Public Domain by the DTI by its agents.
